A Texas Hill Country Wedding at Stonehouse Villa - Divina and Zach

I have a new favorite kind of wedding day weather. FOG. Divina and Zach's wedding day started rainy, dreary, and foggy...and for the most part only the fog lingered through the day. I fully expected their ceremony to move inside, but they hung tight...and it. was. magical. Stonehouse Villa, outside of Austin in Drftwood, TX, looked like something straight out of a fairy tale with the Texas Hill Country painted in fog. As a bonus, I traveled to downtown Austin with them after the wedding to get a few night portraits before they settled in to their hotel. So yeah, dream wedding for me! Divina and Zach are the coolest. I've had so much fun working with and getting to know them better. They met as chaperones at a kids church camp, and carried on with a long distance relationship for several years. Until now. Now they have started their life together, and I'm so, so happy for them!  Their wedding was completely a DIY affair.  Divina designed her own dress, her Mom did the flowers (and LOOK at that bouquet!), family friends did the catering, and all their family was there putting it all together when I showed up.  It was so cool to see all of their family and friends come together to make their wedding vision come to life.  It's clear that they are surrounded by love, and as a wedding photographer, it's just amazing to spend a day in that kind of company.  Much love and a lifetime of happiness to you guys!
